What qualifications are needed?

In general terms, that undertaking cover supervision should:

• Degree graduates or NNEB/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Experience working in an educational setting within the UK an advantage
• Must have experience/confidence with 11 to 16 year olds
• Have the necessary skills to manage safely classroom activities, the physical learning space and resources for which they are responsible;
• Understand and be able to use a range of strategies to deal with classroom behavior as whole and also individual behavioral needs.
