How often will I get paid?

Teachers UK pay all candidates on a weekly basis.

How much will I get paid?

Teachers/Support Workers pay rates are based on experience and qualifications. On registration with Teachers UK we will take this in account and ensure you receive a competitive rate of pay.

Am I paying to much Tax?

Check on your payslip, if the tax code showns states the letters BR, and this is your ony employment (ie you do not work for anyone else) then please download a P46 from our website. This should then be fully completed and signed and returned to us.

How do I work out my tax if I am registered with more than one agency?

You will need to decide which agency is getting you the most work and make sure the tax office has them registered as you main employer.

I think I am paying too much tax, what can I do?

You will need to check your tax code on your payslip. If you are on Basic Rate and Teachers UK is your main employer you will need to fill in a P46.

My salary is not showing in my account when I get a balance from the cash point?

Cash points show account balances as at the close of business for the previous day. Therefore a salary due in Monday will not show on the account balance from a cash point until Tuesday morning. If you telephone or go into the Bank on Monday, the salary will be showing on your account.
