Teachers UK has developed its Professional Learning Framework to ensure all candidates are given parity of opportunity to develop their skills through experience, appraisal, feedback and training, thus widening the scope of work available to them and enabling them to progress in their chosen career.
Teachers UK recognises diversity in the approach to learning by its supply teachers and support workers. Teachers UK also acknowledges that candidates are self-motivated in ensuring their skills and knowledge are regularly updated and in extending their skills though a varied Continual Professional Development (CPD) programme including mentorship, attending training courses and conferences and self-learning.
CPD is co-ordinated and quality assured by Teachers UK Senior Management Team and all training complies with DfES recommendations.
