<strong>Teaching Assistant One to One Support.</strong>

<strong>Pay Range: &pound;50-&pound;65 per day dependent on experience</strong>

Teachers UK are currently seeking for an excellent teaching assistant to work in an Ofsted rated good, primary school situated in the Derbyshire area. This is a part time position working Monday to Friday from 12:15pm until 15:30pm on a one to one basis with a child in foundation stage. The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive team and have the following qualities:

  • Hold a current recognised TA qualification
  • Have recent experience of working within a classroom environment
  • Have knowledge and understanding of the current curriculum complexities
  • Ensure the individual needs of the pupils are met through working closely with the class teacher.
  • Support the teacher in all aspects of classroom organisation.
  • Follow the school’s behavior policy to support all learners
  • Actively take part in professional development, and sharing expertise and experiences as required
  • Work alongside other members of staff to review and innovate the curriculum
  • Work co-operatively as part of a team
  • Interact with data outcomes in order to identify areas for development
  • Support the planning of strategies to close gaps in progress and attainment
  • Work with groups/individual learners to support progress
  • Be organised & timely in meeting deadlines
  • Have a positive outlook on school life

SEN Teaching Assistant Nottingham For Alternative Provision

<strong>KS2 &ndash; KS4 SEN/PRU Teaching Assistant for a Good Alternative Provision&nbsp;</strong>

Pay rate &pound;60 per day

Teachers UK are working closely with an outstanding alternative provision. The role would be working with KS2 to KS4 students who are not in mainstream school&rsquo;s therefore a successful applicant must be hard working and must be patient and understanding with the pupils.&nbsp;

The role will involve transporting Students from their homes to Bases, Libraries and Cafe's to do 1 to 1 work with so having access to your own vehicle is essential.

This is a Teaching assistant role that specialises in SEBD and SEMH and mental Health. (Emotional behavioural, social and mental health difficulties) Working with this alternative provision would be the start of a great carer within SEN with a fantastic energetic team with continued CPD provided. The role will be working 1 to 1 with a student or with a small groups of students.

A Teaching Assistant qualification is not neccesary, however previous T.A or LSA experience is needed and experience working with special needs and challenging behaviour is desirable.
