Cover Supervisor – Secondary School – Lincoln
Teachers UK are currently recruiting a confident, reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work on a supply basis at a secondary school in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for flexible opportunities within education, whether you’re an experienced Cover Supervisor, a recent graduate considering a career in teaching or someone with experience working with young people.

We are looking for someone who can confidently manage a classroom, support students with their learning and create a positive learning environment for pupils across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).

The RoleAs a Supply Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning.
• Supporting pupils across a range of secondary school subjects.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Encouraging students to complete assigned work and remain focused throughout lessons.
• Adapting your approach to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff and school leadership teams.

RequirementsTo be considered for this Cover Supervisor position, you should have:

• Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a secondary school setting (desirable).
• Confidence in supervising and managing groups of secondary school pupils.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• The ability to follow lesson plans and support students with their learning.
• The ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments.
• A flexible, reliable and professional approach.
• An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
