Teachers UK are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work within a fantastic Secondary School in the Worksop area starting in September 2022 on a full time, long term basis.

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday, school hours are 8.00am-2.30pm. The position is until the end of the academic year with the likelihood of extending for the right candidate.

Do you have experience of working with groups of teenagers, such as sports coaching, youth work or behaviour mentor? This post would also provide fantastic CPD opportunities for graduates who wish to apply for teacher training in the future.

The role of a Cover Supervisor –

• To provide classroom supervision in the event of the teacher being absent
• Deliver pre-planned work across a range of subjects to pupils in KS3/KS4
• Make sure classrooms are kept tidy
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Report any potential safeguarding concerns
• Proactively make sure pupils are learning and engaged

You will need to –

• Have a passion to work with young people
• Be able to work with students in a calm but authoritative manner
• Be flexible
• Have experience working with students/young people

As a Cover Supervisor with Teachers UK, you will be subject to a DBS check, Update Service Registration and must also complete Level 1 Safeguarding.
