Job Role: Primary Tutor
Hours: Monday-Friday, full time for 6 weeks. Starting in January 2021.
Location: Luton LU2
Operam Education Group are working in partnership with FFT / SfA to deliver Tutoring through the National Tutoring Programme. We are recruiting tutors now, to deliver an evidenced based programme; all training is provided (free).
The roles available will be based across various schools delivering FFT’s Lightning Squad tutoring programme, this programme improves reading skills for pupils in Years 1 to 4. Pupils work with a tutor in cooperative pairs supported by an online tutoring platform to improve reading skills, fluency, comprehension, spelling and phonics.

We envisage Tutoring programmes to play a vital role in Primary School education for the next 2 years, therefore opportunities can be viewed as long-term, yet flexible.
General Purpose of the role:
To provide tuition on a one to one or small group basis in a face to face capacity within a school setting, as directed and according to computer led instruction and material. To record data, participate in evaluations and compose reports as directed on pupil progress and outcomes.
