Experienced Teaching Assistants and HLTA’s needed to join our bank of Supply Staff on a day to day, short term and long term basis to work across our partnering Primary Schools in the Retford area.

We are looking for candidates who have previous experience working as a teaching assistant or have experience working in a relevant/similar setting. We have the need to cover a variety of roles including, Classroom Teaching Assistant, One to One Support, Midday Supervisor and Behaviour Support.

Typical School hours are between 8.15am-3.30pm with an hour for lunch. Part days, mornings and afternoons are also available so please speak to your consultant about this.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or have experience working in a relevant/similar setting
• Cache Level 2, 3 or equivalent. (Teaching Assistants)
• Cache Level 4, 5 or equivalent. (Higher Level Teaching Assistants)
• Positive and effective behaviour management strategies
• SEND experience is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have an enhanced DBS that is registered on the DBS update service or be prepared to undertake a new one through Teachers UK.
